Long Close School
Long Close School has shaped students since 1941, but its website did not match its reputation. We rebuilt the brand from the ground up and restructured the site around how prospective families actually move through it, turning a neglected platform into one built to convert.
The work
Challenge
Long Close School has been shaping students since 1941. The philosophy was clear, the community was strong, and the school's reputation spoke for itself. The website did not. There were no documented brand standards, the platform had been structurally neglected, and three distinct school communities shared a single digital home with no coherent logic for prospective parents navigating between them.
Process
We built from the ground up. Brand guidelines were documented for the first time: a logo system, colour specifications, typography, and clear space rules. The website was rebuilt around the three school communities, each with its own dedicated section and a consistent narrative structure. Architecture, SEO, and development were treated as one process rather than separate stages, so the structure that made sense for a parent was the same structure that made sense for search.
Solution
The most important work happened before any visible design. We mapped how a prospective family actually moves through the school's offering, from first impression to enquiry, and built the information architecture around that journey rather than around the school's internal departments. That decision shaped everything downstream.
Results
The result is a platform designed to convert prospective families, not just inform them. Long Close now owns a complete brand system, documented and consistent, that works without the studio's ongoing involvement. The digital presence finally matches the standard of the school behind it.
