BC Law Ltd
BC Law Ltd is a London-based law firm with an active international practice. We built a brand identity and website that matched the weight of that positioning: serious, reliable, and nothing in excess.
The work
Challenge
BC Law Ltd is a London-based law firm specialising in corporate and commercial law, litigation, immigration, and commercial property. The client, Prof. Bulent Cicekli, is an experienced solicitor with an active international practice and a clear position in the market. The brief was to build a brand identity and website that matched the weight of that positioning: serious, reliable, and nothing in excess.
Process
There is a common mistake in legal branding: an over-reliance on generic symbols of justice, dark navy backgrounds, and impersonal courtroom photography. For BC Law we started somewhere different. The palette was built around Burgundy Noir, a deep dark-red tone that carries authority without coldness, with Muted Ochre introduced as an accent that adds warmth and character. The logo is a monogram, a B and C joined into a single symbol that works both as a seal and as a signature. It is no coincidence that one of the key mockups placed it on a brass stamp. That material and that form communicate institutional weight before anyone reads the firm's name.
Solution
Typography was doing the same work. Richmond Text as the primary face, a classic serif with high legibility and an authoritative character, carries all primary content. Montserrat handles navigation and short informational blocks. The contrast between serif and sans-serif is not purely aesthetic. It signals where the content requires attention and where it needs to be fast and functional.
Results
The website had one concrete problem to solve: how to present a firm with five distinct legal practices without it reading like a service catalogue. The solution was architectural. Each practice has its own page with a clear hierarchy, but the homepage treats them as one coherent offer under a single positioning line. That line gives the firm both a geographic and strategic context that speaks equally to domestic and international clients, which is directly relevant for a solicitor with an active international arbitration practice.
In their words.
We had an excellent experience working with Sett Agency on our website. Varvara and Adnan brought real professionalism, creativity and a genuine understanding of our firm's identity, and were always responsive to feedback throughout the project. The result exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend them to any business looking for a reliable, professional web design team.
